Press Release 22 February 2023

Leading names from retail & sourcing fraternity share views on ASW ’22

I am enormously thrilled to meet so many young, talented people and grateful to Apparel Resources for putting this event together.

The question that has come up, again and again, is how we can have more of sharing and learning, especially from new businesses. It is our responsibility to share and help people learn from our mistakes.

I am very happy to be here and hope to see more of such events. Thank you very much and I wish ASW all the success. - Jyoti Saikia, MD - Triburg.

I am invited by ASW to be part of a panel discussion and speak on my personal journey within pathways to sourcing.

It was really great to be able to share things with people in a very informal, easy forum where we could engage in back-and-forth conversations and questions and answers.

I’ve been able to walk down to ASW, reconnect with some old friends and meet some new ones. Thank you ASW for having me. - Suparna Malhotra, VP - New Times Group of Companies.

I congratulate the team at Apparel Resources for a very well-organised Apparel Sourcing Week (ASW).

We had put up our Textrum trade show in the exhibition and received tremendous footfall.

As far as today’s panel discussion is concerned, we had a wonderful discussion on the India-Bangladesh collaboration and how we can take this relationship to the next level.

We could touch upon very pertinent issues and the possibilities of collaboration and how we can take the business to the next level for both countries. - Mukesh Bansal (EVP) - Vardhman Textiles Ltd.

It is my absolute pleasure and privilege to be at Apparel Sourcing Week (ASW).

I am very glad to see how the sourcing world is shaping up with so much of innovation; Indian apparel makers, Bangladesh manufacturers, tech partners, scope of networking, meeting up with old friends and so on.

I had a fantastic two days and wish all the best to ASW. - Neeraj Nagpal, Chief Buying and Merchandising Officer - Shoppers Stop.

I thank the organiser of ASW for inviting me to be a part of the panel discussion.

We had a very exciting and vibrant discussion with participants from many big names including Amazon, Aditya Birla, USP, etc., as to how companies are adapting AI in the fashion value chain. Coming back to the event, I think this is a world-class event that Apparel Resources has put up.

I really wish ASW and Apparel Resources a great journey ahead. - Manish Bharati, CBO, Raymond Limited.

I am very happy to be a part of Apparel Sourcing Week (ASW).

The forum created by ASW that has experts talking about the current and future issues which the industry might face, is really wonderful.

Thanks to ASW for making me a part of it. - Kaustubh Korde, Senior Director (Development and Sourcing) - Myntra.

In today’s context, when everything is changing very fast in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the existing market dynamics, the forum of ASW is a great place to facilitate meaningful dialogue. - Neetu Jotwani SVP, House of brands, Myntra.

I am here at ASW to discuss on risk mitigation around sourcing, and how it has changed post-pandemic. I am very thankful to this platform which has been arranged by ASW.

I have come here for the first time and very excited and hope that there will be more participation in the coming years.

Thanks to Apparel Resources for putting together ASW. - Sakshi Dua, VP Merchandising - Li and Fung
